An exciting opportunity for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our established financial services firm in Leeds. You’ll play a crucial role in our Compliance team, ensuring the business meets its regulatory obligations while supporting commercial objectives. This is a key position with visibility across the organization and regular interaction with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies
- Conduct regular compliance reviews and risk assessments
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Provide compliance advice and training to business units
- Manage regulatory relationships and correspondence
- Investigate potential breaches and recommend remedial actions
- Stay current with regulatory developments and assess business impact
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in financial services compliance
- Thorough knowledge of FCA regulations and requirements
- Understanding of financial crime, AML and KYC procedures
- Experience conducting compliance monitoring activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Professional qualification in compliance or relevant field (desirable)
